Working with the SSAT organization out of Princeton, NJ, I, along with Brooke Fettisoff, have been redesigning the entire secondary school test taking experience. Starting with a deep study of fluid reasoning and the development of human cognition, which has lead the testing field to completely "rethink" the questionning format, we are designing a completely new test taking environment. Initial testing has us designing for the tablet, creating the UI/UX, designing the question symbol elements, and developing the backend admin interface for the creation of new questions. One thing is for sure: this will not be the bubble sheet and no. 2 pencil test you remember.
